I use Lion's Mane as part of a recommended stack. I haven't done any with-vs.-without testing to see if the Lion's Mane in itself makes any difference, so I really can't tell anything about the quality of this product; but I can say that taking the stack as a whole on the recommended schedule has been helpful. Also, I first sourced this product from Real Mushrooms after some research into providers and have had no complaints.

I'm 62 and wanted to take off about 10 pounds to slim my waist. I adjusted my workout routine and reduced my calorie intake and for about two months didn't see the corresponding results I was expecting. I started taking their 5 DEFENDERS, LION'S MANE and CORDYCEPS capsules, as well as Ashwagandha and green tea, all while while increasing aerobic exercise. After about two weeks of routinely taking those supplements the weight/fat started coming off. Quickly. I've never been big on taking supplements other than vitamins and the only reason I can't give Five Stars here is because I can't unequivocally say that the weight/fat loss was because of the the mushroom capsules. What I CAN say is that I've tried many, many different exercise and diet routines over the years and NOTHING has ever worked as fast and as consistently with weight/fat loss as the routine that includes taking these mushroom capsules. The only reishi and turkey tail that I trust more than RealMushrooms are the ones I forage myself. I used to be a “3 espressos before I left the house” kind of girl but with the help of my favorite realmushrooms favorites (5-defenders, lions mane & cordyceps), I haven’t felt like I “need” caffeine in nearly 2 years. Beyond that, my digestion has become reliable to a T and my mental focus has improved in a non-jittery way. We have two older labs (retired guide dogs). One is 11 and the other is 13. Our vet recommended turkey tail supplement as they are aging and a great way to support their immune systems. We have found the powder form quite convenient and easier to give than the pills (we simply put it in their dog food at mealtime). We did a lot of research prior to finding this brand.
